Answer:

B. The median is near the center of the IQR for both males and females; and

D. The males have a suspected significant high outlier.

Step-by-step explanation:

The bar inside the box on a boxplot shows the median. We can see in both plots that the median is very near the center of the box; this means the median is nearly centered between Q1 and Q3, which makes it near the center of the IQR (IQR = Q3-Q1).

The highest value on the boxplot for males is much farther away from the box than the lowest value, or than the lowest or highest value for the females. It appears to be significantly different, which would make it an outlier.

What are the parallel sides of a trapezoid
saul85 [17]

Answer:

Parallel means that the lines will never cross. If we look at a traditional trapezoid, the top side and the bottom side are straight lines that will never cross one another. The left and right sides are slanted towards one another, to they are not parallel.

Hope this helped. : )

Accelerating is not an option in executing a decision. True or false
stiv31 [10]

Accelerating is not an option in executing a decision.

This is false.

Accelerating or driving in high speed does not specify any execution of any sort of action or decision. Rather it can depend on the course of driving like changing lanes or something related to emergency.

What is equivalent to 4.321 × 10−4 ?

What is equivalent to 4.321 × 10−4 ?
Arlecino [84]

Please write that as 4.321 × 10^(−4). The " ^ " indicates exponentiation and the parentheses help make clear that your exponent here is a negative one.

Rewrite 4.321 × 10^(−4) by moving the decimal point 4 places to the left:

0.0004321
