Hello!

so this is all i have read.

The 38th parallel north is a circle of latitude that is 38 degrees north of the equatorial plane of the Earth. (Crosses Europe, the Mediterranean Sea, Asia, the Pacific Ocean, North America and the Atlantic Ocean)  Parallel 38, delimits approximately North Korea and South Korea. The line was chosen by the U.S. military near the end of World War II as the army's border, north of which the USSR was to accept the surrender of Japanese forces in Korea and south of which the Americans were to accept the surrender of the Japanese.

Would the Erie Canal have had the same effect if the United States had not made the Louisiana Purchase in 1803?
iVinArrow [24]

Honestly, I think the United States would eventually look the same as it does now. If they had not bought the land, they likely would have gone to war for it. It is very unlikely that they would have let it stay there as part of France or an independent country, both because of Manifest Destiny and for national security.

I don't know who De Vaca is but by context clues I would infer that he realized that Native Americans where not the savages they where thought to be.

Mkey [24]

Answer:

Effective time management allows students to complete more in less time, because their attention is focused and they're not wasting time on distractions (such as social media, for example. Efficient use of time also reduces stress, as students tick off items from their to-do list.

Explanation:

Effective time management is associated with greater academic performance and lower levels of anxiety in students; however many students find it hard to find a balance between their studies and their day-to-day lives.
