Which pair of elements will have a similar valence shell electron configuration?

Chemistry

Here we have to determine the pair of elements which have similar valence shell electron configuration.

The nitrogen (N) and phosphorous (P) has same number of electrons (5) in their valence shell, the electronic configuration is ns²np³.

There are number of elements which have the same number of valence electrons. The valence shell electronic configurations are also same but the principal quantum numbers are different.

In the periodic table in a particular group the number of valence electrons and configurations are same. Like-

H, Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr have the general valence shell configuration i.e. ns¹. (where n = principal quantum number)

The halogen series F, Cl, Br, I, At has the general electronic configuration is ns²np⁵.

They stop all movement of both air and water.

They speed up the air and water and allow it to pass though.

They change the direction and slow them down.

How many liters of C3H6O are present in a sample weighing 25.6 grams?
Romashka [77]

Answer:

V = 0.0327 L.

Explanation:

Hello there!

In this case, according to the given information, it turns out possible for us to calculate the liters of C3H6O by the definition of density. We can tell the density of this substance as that of acetone (0.784 g/mL) and therefore calculate the liters as shown below:

V=25.6g*\frac{1mL}{0.784g}*\frac{1L}{1000mL}\\\\V=0.0327L

Regards!
