Answer: New individuals add their genes to the gene pool.

Genetic drift is a natural phenomena which supports evolution in this the allele frequencies of a population changes over generation. It occurs in all populations but the effect is more prominent in small populations. The selection of allele from the gene pool to be transferred to the next generation is a chance event. Genetic drift occurs when a few number of individuals establish a population. Therefore, new individuals add their genes to the gene pool is the main change that can happen in a small population that is the direct result of genetic drift.

<span>Genetic drift is the variation in different genotypes in a small population due to certain events that produce a large change in population, such as organisms dying out. The result of this genetic drift is that large changes in allele frequencies can occur in a short time.</span>

The chemical processes that occur within a cell are affected by many factors. Optimum cell function occurs within a narrow range
frosja888 [35]
The chemical processes that occur within a cell are affected by many factors. Optimum cell function will not occur due to the following factors: 1. These chemical processes are very sensitive to the temperature and the pH of the cell. If the cell's temperature is either too high or too low, the cell cannot function efficiently. The same can be said for a cell's pH. Enzymes are most active during a limited pH range. If the pH moves outside of this range, the cell's enzymes cannot function efficiently.
2. Cofactors and Coenzymes. Many enzymes and cell functions require additional factors and enzymes to function efficiently. If the required enzymes are not present in the cell, the cell cannot function properly.
