Evaluate
remember that x^0=1
and x^-m=1/(x^m)

simplify
PEMDAS
parenthasees exponentes mulitplciraon or diviosn additon or subtraction

parethasees first

inside to ut
lef to right
7*5*2/7*3
70/21
10/3

then in the next partnheasees
5^0/2^-3 times 2^-9
1/(1/2^3)(1/2^9)
1/(1/8)(1/512)
8/512
1/64

so now we have
(10/3)^2 times 1/64
100/9 times 1/64
100/576
25/144

you should group them better so it is easier to read

Yes so you want to use pemdas.

First parenthesis:
(5*2/3)^2 = (10/3)^2 = 100/9 * (1/1/8)*1/(2^9)) = 100/9*(8/512) = 100/9(1/64) = 25/144 = .17361

Kendra spends $15 buying fabric to make baby blankets.She can make 4 blankets from one pice of fabric.If she sells the blankets
ra1l [238]

Answer:

her profit is $25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

She spends $15 for purchasing fabric so that she make the baby blankets

And, she can make 4 blankets from one piece of fabric

Now she sold the blankets for 10 each

So we need to find out the profit

As we know that

Profit = Selling cost - purchasing cost

= (4 × $10) - $15

= 40 - $$5

= $25

hence, her profit is $25

To Enter the value of n that makes the equation: 4^5.4^n=4^8 true
irina1246 [14]
4^2\text{ }\times4^n=4^8

Since both sides have the same base (4), we can add the exponents

4^{5+n}=4^85+n=8

subtract 5 from both sides:

5+n-5=8-5n=3

Find the function of which is the solution of 36y"-48y'-48y=0 with initial conditions y1(0)=1. y1'(0)=0
lilavasa [31]

Answer:

y=\frac{1}{4} e^{2x}+\frac{3}{4} e^{-\frac{2}{3}x }

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,  D=\frac{d}{dx}

Now, us simplify the given differential equation and write it in terms of D,

36y''-48y'-48y=0

or, 3y''-4y'-4y=0

or, (3D^2-4D-4)y=0

We have our auxiliary equation:

3D^2-4D-4=0

or, (3D+2)(D-2)=0

or, D=2, - \frac{2}{3}

Therefore our solution is,

y=Ae^{2x}+Be^{- \frac{2}{3}x}

and, y'=2Ae^{2x}-\frac{2}{3}Be^{\frac{2}{3}x }

Applying the boundary conditions, we get,

A+B=1

2A-\frac{2}{3}B=0

Solving them gives us,

A=\frac{1}{4} ,B=\frac{3}{4}

Hence,

y=\frac{1}{4} e^{2x}+\frac{3}{4} e^{-\frac{2}{3}x }
