Evaluate
remember that x^0=1
and x^-m=1/(x^m)

simplify
PEMDAS
parenthasees exponentes mulitplciraon or diviosn additon or subtraction

parethasees first

inside to ut
lef to right
7*5*2/7*3
70/21
10/3

then in the next partnheasees
5^0/2^-3 times 2^-9
1/(1/2^3)(1/2^9)
1/(1/8)(1/512)
8/512
1/64

so now we have
(10/3)^2 times 1/64
100/9 times 1/64
100/576
25/144

you should group them better so it is easier to read

Yes so you want to use pemdas.

First parenthesis:
(5*2/3)^2 = (10/3)^2 = 100/9 * (1/1/8)*1/(2^9)) = 100/9*(8/512) = 100/9(1/64) = 25/144 = .17361

Meredith bought 4 T-shirts and 2 pairs of pants. If x is the cost of one T-shirt and y is the cost of one pair of pants, she’ll
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

The total cost = 4x + 2y

The total cost = 2y + 4x

The total cost = 6x + 4y

The total cost = 4y + 6x

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets explain how to solve the problem

- Meredith bought 4 T-shirts and 2 pairs of pants

∴ The number of T-shirts is 4

∴ The number of pairs of pants is 2

- x is the cost of one T-shirt and y is the cost of one pair of pants

∴ The cost of each T-shirt is x

∴ The cost of each pair pf pants is y

∵ The total cost is the sum of the products of the number of T-shirts

and the cost of each one and the number of pair of pants and the

   cost of each one

∴ The total cost = (4 × x) + (2 × y)

∴ The total cost = 4x + 2y

- To find the equivalent expression switch the places of x and y

∴ The total cost = 2y + 4x

- Meredith bought 6 T-shirts and 4 pairs of pants

∴ The number of T-shirts is 6

∴ The number of pairs of pants is 4

∴ The total cost = (6 × x) + (4 × y)

∴ The total cost = 6x + 4y

- To find the equivalent expression switch the places of x and y

∴ The total cost = 4y + 6x
