4 is the solution because you subtract 36 on both sides than you get -6g = -24 than you do -24 divided by -6 which leaves you with g=4

Remember you can do anything to an equaiton as long as you do it to both sides

-6g+36=12
minus 36 both sides
-6g=-24
diide -6
remember(-)/(-)=(+)
g=4

Decide whether the function is an exponential growth or exponential decay function, and find the constant percentage rate of gro
Rasek [7]

Answer:

Exponential decay function; -0.94%

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given an exponential function and we are supposed to find whether the given function increases or decreases and also the percentage of increase or decrease.

Th given function is f(x) = 2060\times (0.9906)^{x}

Here x denotes the number of years.

At the start the value was 2060. In the next year it was multiplied by 0.9906.

This means that the value becomes 0.9906 times after each year.

Hence the value decreases by 0.0094 times its original value.

Converting to percentage it becomes 0.94% decrease after each year.

If a denotes some event, what does upper a overbara denote? if p(a)equals=0.9930.993, what is the value of p(upper a overba
masya89 [10]
P(A) = 0.993 is the probability of event A
    _
P(A) is the probability of not A (note that I am trying to place a bar over A. I hope you can see it, else it is because the editor did not show it as I intended)

Then, use the fact that the probability of A plus the probability not A is equal to 1:
                    _
=> P(A) + P(A) = 1
         _
=> P(A) = 1 - P(A) = 1 - 0.993 = 0.007

So, the answers are:
        _
1) P(A) = 0.07
             _
2) Yes, A is unlikely because its probability is very low.

Describe ways you could look at two shapes and tell that one is not the image of the other under a rigid transformation
9966 [12]

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

a rigid transformation preserves lengths and angles

if the shapes don't look the same or they are the same shape but smaller or bigger than the other one it's not a rigid transformation

if the corresponding angles are the same that works too
