For area count how many squares : 12 whole squares + 3 whole squares( that are made of 6 half squares)= altogether 15 square
15*9=90+45=135 yd²

to find perimeter you need to count sides 
4+1+2+1+2+3+1/2+2+(1/2+1/2)+2+(1/2+1/2)+2+1/2+2+1=
=10+4+10+1= 25 yd

Total Area=108+27=135 yd²
