Natural selection is the process of organisms adapting to their environments over time.

<u>Explanation: </u>

Natural selection refers the process to various survival and multiplication of organisms due to environmental properties. For example peacock, pepper moth, etc. These lead to evolutionary changes in which individual with specific traits has higher survival or reproduction than individuals in other populations and passes on these hereditary genetic traits to their offspring.

A process in which organisms are well suited to the surroundings than others generate more offspring. Due to this process, the percentage of organisms that adapt to the environment is increasing with each generation.

A 2kg hockey puck is sliding across the ice skating rink at 2 m/s. A player hits the puck so it's velocity increases to 10 m/s.
konstantin123 [22]

The work done on the puck is 96 J

Explanation:

According to the work-energy theorem, the work done on the hockey puck is equal to the change in kinetic energy of the puck.

Mathematically:

W=K_f -K_i= \frac{1}{2}mv^2-\frac{1}{2}mu^2

where

K_f = \frac{1}{2}mv^2 is the final kinetic energy of the puck, with

m = 2 kg being the mass of the puck

v = 10 m/s is the final speed

K_i = \frac{1}{2}mu^2 is the initial kinetic energy of the puck, with

u = 2 m/s being the initial speed of the puck

Substituting numbers into the equation, we find the work done by the player on the puck:

W=\frac{1}{2}(2)(10)^2 - \frac{1}{2}(2)(2)^2=96 J

9. Since current is the rate at which charge is flowing, if the current in the circuit decreases, what does that mean about the
TiliK225 [7]

Answer:

Electric current is defined as the rate of flow of electric charge in a circuit from point one point to another. This is carried by electrically charged particles within the circuit. Current is represented by the symbol I and its unit measured in Amperes. It is therefore related to the voltage and resistance of the circuit. If the current in the circuit reduces, the rate at which the charge and current on the capacitor reduces also proportionally in an exponential manner.

Explanation:

Since a decrease in the flow of current in the circuit is observed, the implication for the rate at which the charge and voltage on the capacitor is also an exponential decrease in the rate of flow with time. This is because the electric current is directly proportional to the electric charge and the time.

If a car increases its velocity from zero to 60 m/s in 10 seconds, its acceleration is
andrezito [222]
We know that a=vf_vi/t equals equation "a" . Where a is the acceleration of the body , vf is the final velocity , vi is the initial velocity and t is equal to time . Since vi equals o m/s , vf equals to 60 m/s and t equals 10 s. Put in equation "a". a=60-0/10 =6m/s2
