The state of a substance depends upon the nature of substance

a substance is a gas after its boiling point

a substance is heated gas above its boiling point

so if boiling point of substance (like water) is 100°C then the substance will be heated gas above 100°C

for water

a) below 0°C : it will be solid

b) at 100°C : it will have an equilibrium between liquid and gas

c) between 0°C to 100°C : it will liquid

2. Explain Charles law in terms of the kinetic<br> molecular theory?
Alina [70]

Answer:

Explanation:

Charles law states that "the volume of a fixed mass of gas varies directly as its absolute temperature if the pressure is constant".

This law is a derivative of the kinetic molecular theory of gases.

  • The law explained shows that as the temperature of gases increases the volume of gases increases.
  • When gases are heated the average kinetic energy of the molecules increases.
  • The molecules are independent of one another and they begin to expand out as their velocity surges.
  • They take up more spaces in this way.

Describe at least 3 biotic and 3 abiotic factors found in that ecosystem and do not tell which ecosystem you chose
Andrew [12]
Abiotic factors are the non-living parts of the environment that can often have a major influence on living organisms. Abiotic factors include water, sunlight, oxygen, soil and temperature. Water (H2O) is a very important abiotic factor – it is often said that “water is life.” All living organisms need water.
