True, any angle higher than 90° is obtuse, and any angle lower than 90 is acute <span />

This is true.
Because 90 degrees, and 180 is a straight line, anything between that is obtuse.

I need help finding this answer please
Maslowich
To solve this you need to use the formula for Chord-Chord length. You need to know it, it is ab=cd. with this, we can plug numbers in.
a=30
b=x+1
c=2x-6
d=21
So our new equation is:
30(x+1)=21(2x-6)
30x+30=42x-126
156=12x
x=13
This isn't what the question is askign for though, it wants YZ
Which is A+B or 30+x+1 or 21+13=34.
YZ=34

How to solve these two problems ?
puteri [66]

8)  \theta is -0.896 radians

9) length of arc is 41.91 cm

Solution:

8)

Given that,

tan\ \theta = \frac{-5}{4}

\theta is in quadrant 4

To find: \theta

From given,

tan\ \theta = \frac{-5}{4}\\\\\theta = tan^{-1} \frac{-5}{4}\\\\\theta = tan^{-1} (-1.25)\\\\\theta = -51.34

Thus value of \theta is -51.34 degrees

Convert degrees to radians

-51.34\ degree = -51.34 \times \frac{ \pi }{180}\ radian\\\\-51.34\ degree = -0.896\ radian

Thus \theta is -0.896 radians

9)

From given,

radius = 15.4 cm

\theta = \frac{13 \pi }{15}

<em><u>The length of arc when angle in radians is:</u></em>

arc\ length = r \times \theta\\\\arc\ length = 15.4 \times \frac{ 13 \pi }{15}\\\\arc\ length = 15.4 \times 2.721\\\\arc\ length = 41.91

Thus length of arc is 41.91 cm

The table represents a linear function.<br> What is the slope of the function?
TEA [102]

Answer:

-4

Step-by-step explanation:

The function is linear; therefore, the slope of the line joining any two points is the same.

We take any two points from the table and compute the slope or  rise/ run between them— let is take points (-4, -2) and (-2, -10).

The slope m of the line joining the points is

m=\dfrac{\Delta y }{\Delta x } =\dfrac{-2-(-10)}{-4-(-2)} \\\\\boxed{m=-4}

The slope of the function is -4.
