Answer:

1) Φ=zero

2)  λ = 2π / k

3)   T = 2π / w

4)  v = w / k

Explanation:

The equation of a traveling wave is

     y = A sin (ka - wt + Ф)

Let's answer using this equation the different questions

1) we see that the equation given in the problem the phase is zero

2) wavelength

     k = 2π /λ

      λ = 2π / k

3) The perido

angular velocity is related to frequency

       w = 2π f

frequency and period are related

       f = 1 / T

       w = 2 π / T

        T = 2π / w

4) the wave speed is

         v = λ f

          λ = 2π / k

          f = w / 2π

          v = 2π /k  w /2π

           v = w / k

The frequency is slowly increased. Once it passes the critical value fb, the student hears the ball bounce. There is now enough
vitfil [10]

Answer: g = acceleration = A*w^2 = A*(2*pi*fb)^2.

Explanation:

The ball bounces when the acceleration of the ball exceeds that of gravity. If A and fb are measured at that point, g = acceleration = A*w^2 = A*(2*pi*fb)^2.

The collision and joining of crustal fragments to a continent is called continental _____.
astra-53 [7]

Answer;

Continental accretion

Explanation;

  • The collision and joining of crustal fragments to a continent is called the continental accretion.
  • Accretion is the process through which materials such as sediment, volcanic arcs, or seamounts or blocks, etc. are added to the tectonic plate or land mass. Many astronomical bodies, such as stars, galaxies or planets are formed by this process.
  • Where the process of accretion has occurred the tectonic plates may have dense basaltic rocks which are indicative of oceanic lithosphere.

Why do all planets rotate around the sun in the ssame direction
Nutka1998 [239]
This is because of the conservation of angular momentum, which allows most planets to spin in the same direction, but Venus and Uranus have seem to ignore this as they spin in different directions, as Venus spins clockwise and Uranus is on its side
