Answer:

n₂ = 2.00

Explanation:

Using the Rydberg Energy Equation of 1/λ = R * Z² * (1/n₂² - 1/n₁²)

this is where λ is the wavelength, z is atomic number, n₁ is the initial energy level, n₂ the final energy level and R is the Rydberg constant with a value of ≈ 1.0973 * 10^7 1/m.

If we plug all the given numbers in the the equation we are left with an unknown of n₂, solve for n₂ and your answer will be 2.00

An empty 2,500 kg train car is headed northbound at a velocity of 5 m/s. Ahead of the first car, an empty 1,500 kg car is headed
Tema [17]

Let the mass of 2500 kg car be m_1 and it's velocity be v_1 and the mass of 1500 kg car be m_2 and it's velocity be v_2 .

After the bumping the mass be M and it's velocity be V.

     By law of conservation of momentum we have

                   m_1v_1+m_2v_2 = MV

                    2500 * 5 + 1500 * 1=4000 * V

                    V = 14000/4000 = 7/2 = 3.5 m/s

So the velocity of the two-car train = 3.5 m/s

Yolanda is studying two waves. The first wave has an amplitude of 2 m, and the second has an amplitude of 3 m. Which statement a
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

a) Not Accurate

b) Not Accurate

c) Accurate

d) Accurate

Explanation:

Part a

Not Accurate, because destructive interference would lead to maximum possible magnitude of < 3 m

Part b

Not Accurate, because constructive interference would lead to minimum possible magnitude of > 2 m

Part c

Accurate, because destructive interference would lead to maximum possible magnitude of < 3 m by varying the phase difference between two waves she can achieve the desired results.

Part d

Accurate, because constructive interference would lead to minimum possible magnitude of > 2 m by varying the phase difference between two waves she can achieve the desired results.
