So exg
if
f(x)=2x
g(x)=3x
then (f o g)(x)=f(g(x))=f(x)=2(3x)
so f o g(2) means in this equation
subsitute 2 for x
(f o g)(2)=f(g(2))=(|1-2|)^2+4(|1-2|)

the x in the f(x)  is g(x)so  first evaluate g(2)
so
g(2)=|1-2|=|-1|=1
g(2)=1
then
f(1)=1^2+4(1)=1+4=5

the answer is 5

In the supermarket a loaf of bread costs 37p how many loaves can david buy with a 2 coin ? How much money will be left over?
Rasek [7]

Answer: He can buy 5 loaves of bread.

After buying 5 loaves 15 p will be left.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, In the supermarket a loaf of bread costs 37p .

To find: How many loaves can David buy with a \pounds 2 coin?

Since \pounds 1=100\text{ pence}

Then, \pounds 2=200\text{ pence}

Number of loaves he can buy = (Amount he has) ÷ (Cost of a loaf of bread)

= 200 p ÷ 37 p

=5\dfrac{15}{37}

i.e. he can buy 5 loaves of bread and 15 p will be left.

Hence, He can buy 5 loaves of bread.

After buying 5 loaves 15 p will be left.

Write the standard equation of a circle with center (2, −5) and radius 16.
astra-53 [7]

The standard equation of circle when center is (h,k) and radius is 'r'

\left ( x - h \right )^{2} + \left ( y - k \right )^{2} = r^{2}

h = 2 and k = - 5, radius = 16

So equation of the circle is given by

\left ( x - 2 \right )^{2} + \left ( y - (-5) \right )^{2} = 16^{2}

\left ( x - 2 \right )^{2} + \left ( y + 5) \right )^{2} = 256

Jeremy bought a $60 pair of sneakers on sale for 15% off. Then, he used a coupon that gave him an additional 10% off. Can Jeremy
stira [4]

Answer:

Jeremy find the cost of the sneakers by solving for the values of the 10% in dollars and subtracting the dollar amount from the cost of the sneaker

Step-by-step explanation:

Step one:

given data

cost of sneakers= $60

Required

the cost of the sneaker after the two discounts

Actually, the two percents given are the discount of the sale.

the first discount is

15%= 15/100*60

=0.15*60

=$9

The second is 10% coupon

10/100*60

=0.1*60

=$6

The total discounts = 9+6= $15

The cost of the sneakers= 60-15= $45

Jeremy find the cost of the sneakers by solving for the values of the 10% in dollars and subtracting the dollar amount from the cost of the sneaker
