an object accelerates from rest to a velocity of 4.om / s over a distance of 20m . what was it's acceleration
AfilCa [17]
Acceleration is the change in velocity over time. There's are formula's for such problems which are called kinematics equations. Look em up. One of them doesn't have t (time) in them you would normally use that one to solve this problem. 16/2/20=a=0.4m/s^2

I did it for you but please look it up, understand and memorize it ;)

An ounce is equal to about 28 g. If 1 g of soil contains 2.5 billion bacteria, how many bacteria are in 1 oz of soil?
Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

About 700 billion bacteria

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

1oz \approx 28g

1g = 25\ billion\ bacteria

Required

Number of bacteria in 1 oz

1g = 25\ billion\ bacteria

Multiply both sides by 28

28 * 1g = 25\ billion\ bacteria * 28

28g = 700\ billion\ bacteria

Recall that

1oz \approx 28g

This means:

1oz \approx 700\ billion\ bacteria

Need help with this logarithm question
alex41 [277]

Answer:

First one - the root is in the bottom of the fraction (just like it is with trees) and she wrote it backwards. 2 to the four over three is the third root of two the power of four and not the other way around. Just change that and it's good.

Second one - he said that ln(2) = 2 and that's just not true. No way of fixing that one, he shouldn't get high as often as he does I guess.
