B. A high-mass star ends in a nova event. When a high mass star gets to the end of its life, the gravity of its mass collapses upon itself, causing the collapse to accelerate and cause a nova event. On the other hand, smaller mass stars typically either become white dwarfs or red giants, depending on the particular circumstances and mass of the star.

Find the area of the figure below
Serhud [2]
Easy

the easiest way is to imagine that you have a rectangle with a corner cut off
the area of the figure=area of rectangle-area cut off

area that was cut off was a triangle

area of rectangle=length times width
area of triangle=1/2base times height

so we draw imaginary lines like in attachment
find area of rectangle
legnth=9 inch
width=9 inch
area=9 times 9=81 in^2

triangle
the top part is ?+5=9, so the base of triangle=4
the side is ?+4=9, so the base is 5
area=1/2 times 4 times 5=10 in^2

area=rectangle-triangle
area=81-10=71 in^2

A small publishing company is planning to publish a new book. The production costs will include one-time fixed costs (such as ed
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

For the cost from the two methods to be equal, 3,200 books have to be produced

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question, we are asked to calculate the number of books that will be produced for two methods of production having different fixed and variable costs to have the same production cost.

Since the number of books is something we do not know, let’s represent it with a variable called c.

For the first production method, the cost of production will be ; 58,881 + 8.50c

For the second production method, the cost of production will be; 18,081 + 21.25c

Now since they are said to be equal, we proceed to equate both;

58,881 + 8.5c = 18,081 + 21.25c

58,881-18,081 = 21.25c - 8.5c

40,800 = 12.75c

c = 40,800/12.75

c = 3,200 books
