Applied force is self explanatory. But a good example is... think out it when you push on a desk to stand up from sitting. You are applying force to the desk.
hope that makes sense. :)

Hello!

An applied force can best be described as, pushing a heavy box across a room.
You're putting your own force on it, which is pushing..

Hope this helps! ☺♥

Bess [88]

Answer:

An estimate for the time it will take for a spacecraft to travel from Earth to Mars is approximately 138.8 days

Explanation:

The distance between Earth and the Moon = 684,400 km

The distance between Earth and Mars = 220.58 × 10⁶ km

The distance between Earth and Pluto = 5.2241 × 10⁹ km

The ratio of the distance between Earth and Pluto and the distance between Earth and Mars = (5.2241 × 10⁹ km)/(220.58 × 10⁶ km) ≈ 23.683

It took 2006 to 2015 (9 years) to travel from Earth to Pluto, therefore, it can take approximately (9 years)/(23.683) ≈ 0.38 of a year which is ((9 years)/(23.683)) × 365.2422 ≈ 138.8 days for a spacecraft to travel from Earth to Mars

What is the role of the neutral wire
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

The neutral wire is often confused with ground wire, but in reality, they serve two distinct purposes. Neutral wires carry currents back to power source to better control and regulate voltage. Its overall purpose is to serve as a path to return energy.

What is difference between non uniform and uniform circular motion?
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

The object in a uniform motion covers same distances in an equal time period. Objects in a non-uniform motion cover dissimilar distances in an equal time period.

Explanation:

The speed of the object traveling in uniform motion is constant, the actual speed and the average speed of the moving body is same.

27b. You're in an airplane that flies horizontally with speed 1000 km/h (280 m/s) when an engine falls off. Ignore air resistanc
jonny [76]

Answer:

8400m

Explanation:

The engine that falls off would have the same constant horizontal velocity as the airplane's when if falls off if we ignore air resistance. So it would have a horizontal velocity of 280m/s for 30seconds before it hits the ground.

Therefor the horizontal distance the engine travels during its fall is

280 * 30 = 8400m
