Hope this helped!

50 POINTS TO WHOEVER CAN ANSWER QUESTIONS 1-10
Trava [24]

Answer:

1)   x = 4  2)   x = 4   3)  x = -4   4)   x = 3   5)   x = 5   6)   x = 9   7)   x = -8

8)   x = 11   9)   x = -5   10)   x = -4

Step-by-step explanation:

Alternate Exterior and Alternate Interior angles are equal to each other. Just set the numbers or equations the give you equal to each other.

Question 1:             Question 2:                 Question 3:               Question 4:

33x+3=135              120=31x-4                    120=x+124                 40x+5=42x-1

33x=132                  124=31x                        -4=x                           6=2x

x=4                          x=4                                x= -4                          x=3

Question 5:             Question 6:             Question 7:             Question 8:

20x+4=19x+9           11x= -9+12x               80=x+88                 10x+20=12x-2

-5= -x                        -x = -9                       -8 = x                      22=2x

x=5                            x= 9                          x= -8                       x=11

Question 9:              Question 10:

70=x+75                   130=x+134

-5 = x                         -4 = x

x = -5                         x= -4

What is the area of the composite figure? (6π 4) cm2 (6π 16) cm2 (12π 4) cm2 (12π 16) cm2
raketka [301]

The area of the considered composite figure is given by: Option: 6π + 16 cm²

How to calculate the surface area of a composite figure?

Surface area are derived for some standard shapes like circle, triangle, parallelogram, rectangle, trapezoid, etc.

When some shape comes which isn't standard figure, then we find its area by slicing it (virtually, like by drawing lines) in standard shapes. Then we calculate those composing shapes' area and sum them all.

Thus, we have:

\text{Area of composite figure} = \sum (\text{Area of composing figures})

That ∑ sign shows "sum"

For this case, the missing image is attached below.

As visible, the area of the figure = Sum of area of those 3 semi circles + Area of that square(its square because it has 4 equal sides in which adjacent sides are perpendicular) in between.

The side of the square is of 2+2=4 cm( as half of its side is 2 cm), thus, Area of that square = 4² = 16 cm²

All those 3 semicircles has radius = 2 cm

Since radius is same, so area of those 3 semicircle is same = \dfrac{\pi r^2}{2} = \dfrac{\pi (2)^2}{2} = 2 \pi\: \rm cm^2

Thus, we get:

Area of the composite figure = 2 \pi +2 \pi +2 \pi  + 16 \: \rm cm^2 = 6 \pi+ 16 \: \rm cm^2

Serial numbers for a product are to be made using 3 letters followed by 3 numbers. If the letters are to be taken from the first
kupik [55]
Answer: 11,232,000

This result is a single number slightly over 11 million

----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------

Work Shown:

Throughout all of this, order does matter (eg: ABC is different from BCA)

Focus on the letters for now
There are 26 letters total.
The first slot has 26 choices
The second slot has 25 choices (since we can't reuse whatever is in slot1)
The third slot has 24 choices

For just the letters only, we have 26*25*24 = 15600 permutations

Since we'll use this number later, let's call this M = 15600
---------------------

Now onto the numbers. There are 10 digits total
For slot 1 we have 10 choices
For slot 2 we have 9 choices
For slot 3 we have 8 choices

For just the numbers only, we have 10*9*8 = 720 permutations

Since we'll use this number later, let's call this N = 720
---------------------

Now multiply M and N
M*N = 15600*720 = 11,232,000

So we can generate 11,232,000 serial numbers

Harold had 1400 stamps.He gave 350 of them to his brother and the rest to his sister. What Percent of the stamps did he give to
Inessa [10]
What you would have to do for this problem is set up a percent, whole, and part. For example part-350, whole-1400, and the percent would be "x" because we don't know the percent he gave away. Then you put 350 over 1400 and multiply that buy x over 100. So your equation would look like this, 350/1400 X x/100. You're putting x over 100 because x represents the unknown percent, and 100 is the amount that all percent add up to. So then you multiply 350 and 100 which equals 35000. Then you multiply 1400 by x and get 1400x. Finally to get the variable by itself you divide 1400x by 1400 to get x. What you do to one side you have to do to the other. So 35000 divided by 1400 is 25. So Harold gave 25% of his stamps to his sister.
