2/9 +1/3=5/9
this means you read a total of 5/9 of your book on Friday and Saturday. so to finish your book, you must have read 4/9 of it on Sunday. If (4/9)x=120, x=270; your book has 270 pages.

The length of a rectangle is 5 inches more than 3 times the width. If the area of the rectangle is 68 square inches, what is the
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

Width=4, and Length=17

Step-by-step explanation:

first you will make a variable for the width which i will say is x

now make it an equation (3x+5) (x) = 68

then solve 3x^2+5x=68

then 3x^2+5x-68=0

then x=4

then you have to substitute so 3(4)+5= 17 and 4
