His ending balance would be $500. If you subtract $3,000 from $1,000 you get $2,000..then when you subtract $2,000 from $1,500 you get $500!!

Answer:

The answer is $500.

Step-by-step explanation:

Joe works full time as a carpenter and brings home $3,000 per month.

He owes a total of $1,500 in fixed expenses every month.

Joe had $1,000 in variable expenses.

Total expenses are = 1500+1000=2500 dollars

So, his ending balance will be = 3000-2500=500 dollars

Therefore, the answer is $500.
