K(x) = (1/4)^x

(1,4) when x = 1, k(1) = (1/4)^1 = 1/4....FALSE
(3, 1/64) when x = 3, k(3) = (1/4)^3 = 1/64....TRUE
(-1,4) when x = -1, k(-1) = (1/4)^-1 = 4....TRUE
(0, 1/4) when x = 0, k(0) = (1/4)^0 = 1....FALSE

Ginny is studying a population of frogs. She determines that the population is decreasing at an average rate of 3% per year. Whe
svp [43]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This is exponential, of the form

y=a(b)^x where a is the initial amount and b is the growth/decay rate. If Ginny begins the study with 1200 frogs in the population, our a value is 1200.

If the population is decreasing 3% per year, it is decreasing 100% - 3% = 97% which, as a decimal, is .97. Our exponential function, then, is

y=1200(.97)^x

Y=6
X+2y=16

Can someone one help me out its a substitution and system of equations graph
Nikitich [7]
If you know that y = 6. You just have to switch Y by 6.

x + 2y = 16
x + 2*6 = 16
x + 12 = 16
x = 16 - 12
x= 4

4 + 2*6 = 16

Hope this helps !

Verdich [7]

Answer:

The % students going to higher education is 79.60 % which is higher than the reported value.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to national study report the students going to college for higher education = 75 %

Given that

156 of their 196 graduates last year went on to college.

% students going to higher education is

(\frac{156}{196}) 100 = 79.60

Thus the % students going to higher education is 79.60 % which is higher than the reported value.
