The rule related to this problem is when it states 101 or 102 , that means the amount of zeroes behind the given number .

For example 103 would be 1000 because 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000

So, in this particular problem the answer would be number 3 because 103 = 1000 so then you have 6 × 1000 which then = 6000

Hope this helps!

If a package of corn chips weighs 1.2 ounces what is the weight in ounces of 48 packages ?
Naya [18.7K]
I'm not usually good at these questions but you can get a calculator that does weight multiplied by units.
so with your question it would be :

1.2 ounces x (48 units)
=  57.6 ounces

57.6 ounces

Find the missing b for a trapezoid with a=68, h=4, b=21
MAVERICK [17]

We will have to use the formula for the area of a trapezoid on this problem, which is (b_1 and b_2 are the bases of the trapezoid and h is the height):

\dfrac{b_1 + b_2}{2} \cdot h

All we need to do is substitute the information we are given into our formula:

\dfrac{21 + b_2}{2} \cdot 4 = 68

Now, let's just simplify the equation:

\dfrac{21 + b_2}{2} \cdot 4 = 68

\dfrac{21 + b_2}{2} = 17

21 + b_2 = 34

b_2 = 13

The missing base has a length of 13 units.

Find the volume of this sphere please <br><br> As soon as possible.

<h3>Answer:   30</h3>

==========================================================

Explanation:

"Use 3 for pi" is something I've never seen a teacher do before. Usually it's "use 3.14 for pi".

Anyway, the diameter of this cylinder is 2 inches, which cuts in half to 1 inch. This is the radius.

The height is 10 inches.

So we have r = 1 and h = 10

V = pi*r^2*h

V = 3*1^2*10

V = 30 cubic inches approximately
