It’s not B because you’re not speeding up or slowing down, it means you’re at a constant speed

It’s not C because acceleration means to speed up not slow down

It’s not D - again doesn’t fit with the definition of acceleration

So:

Ay = -6.5 = 8.846cos(\alpha)\\\\sin(\alpha) = \frac{-6.5}{8.846}\\\\sin(\alpha) = -0.7348\\\\\alpha = sin^{- 1}(- 0.7348)
