Mitosis lasts for an hour in the human cells. Prometaphase and the Prophase take about 15 minutes and the Metaphase is the longest, lasting about 20 minutes. Then comes the Anaphase which lasts for 3 minutes tops followed by Telophase and Cytokynesis which last for upto 10 minutes.

Fossils up to 75,000 years old can be dated with ______.
kodGreya [7K]
Fossils up to 75,000 years old can be dated with Carbon-14.

Radio isotopes can be used for the age determination of the fossils. Carbon-14 is a common isotope which is used for that purpose. But the half- life of the Carbon-14 is relatively small as 5730 years. That means the amount of Carbon-14 will be half after every 5730 years. Hence, decay is very fast. So Carbon-14 cannot be used forage determination which is more than 75000 years due to the low accuracy.

Which of the following results from cutting down trees
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

Vegetation on soil protects the soil from erosion because its roots and root hairs help bind the soil particles together. This occurs mechanically by binding soil into crumbs and also chemically by providing organic matter that binds the soil particle into humus that holds moisture. The soil becomes heavy to be carried off by wind erosion. Trees also break the down flow of water hence reducing the capacity of runoff to carry soil sediments.
