Which mRNA sequence is the complement to the DNA sequence GATCAC

Biology

Ans.

During the process of transcription, DNA synthesizes mRNA molecule, which is complementary to parent DNA strand. In DNA, four types of bases are present that include thymine (T), guanine (G), cytosine (C), and adenine (A), and thymine binds with adenine (A-T) and cytosine binds with guanine (C-G).

In RNA, uracil is present in place of thymine and base pairing occurs as adenine-uracil (A-U) and cytosine-guanine(C-G). Thus, 'the complementary mRNA sequence to the DNA sequence GATCAC will be CUAGUG.'

heres a conversion chart type thang

G→C
A→U
T→A
C→G (like above)
A→U (like above)
C→G (like above)

so dennnn

GATCAC coverts to CUAGUG

Triss [41]

Two species of sea urchins live practically side-by-side in sandy bottoms. The two species appear to have the same diet: drift seaweeds and other bits of organic matter. They can live in the same environment without competing.

As it compels them to live in the same environmental surroundings so the characteristics of living nature also get developed as their current following situation that's helping them to get the same food & habitat.

Why would competition be considered a limiting factor within a ecosystem
raketka [301]

Answer

The main reason being the amount of food available.

Explanation:

Think of it this way:

If an animal is trying to find food but another species is looking for the same prey then its going to be increasingly difficult for the species to find prey and if there's not enough of the prey species then the population of the predator to go down.

That is why its considered a limiting factor.
