A) Linear velocity, v = ωr           ω = Angular velocity, r = radius.

<span>ω = 5 revolutions per minute.  1 minute = (1/60) hour. </span>

<span>= 5*2π radians / (1/60) hour = 600π radians per hour          π = 3.14 </span>

= 600*3.14 = 1884 radians / hour

<span>but radius, r = 10 feet,  5280 feet = 1 mile,  10 feet = (10/5280) mile   </span>

Linear velocity, v = ωr

<span>                       v = 1884 radians / hour *  (10/5280) mile   </span>
                       v ≈  3.568 miles / hour<span />

Which expression is equivalent to 12(2+3x−6) ?
matrenka [14]
Simplify: 12(2 + 3x - 6)
= (12)(2 + 3x + - 6) = (12)(2) + (12)(3x) + (12)( - 6)
= 24 + 36x - 72
Answer = 36x - 48

2: Factor:

36x - 48
= 12(3x -4)

Answer
= 12(3x -4)

3: <span>12(2+3x−6)

= 12(3x + 2 - 6)

= 12(3x - 4)

Your Answer  would be (A).

3x - 4</span>

enyata [817]
When substituting, you want to take the y value from one equation and plug it into the y variable in the other equation to find the x value. When you find the c value, you plug the number into one of the equations to get your y value.

Use the function below to find F(3).<br> )(<br> F(x)=(1/4)^x
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

1/64

Step-by-step explanation:

F(3) means to use 3 in place of x in the given equation.

f(x) = (1/4)^x

f(3) = (1/4)^3

Either use exponents rules:

= 1^3 / 4^3

= 1 / 64

or just use the meaning of exponents

= 1/4 × 1/4 × 1/4

= 1/64
