First: we have to express the units of velocity in m/s
70 km/h=70 km/h(1000 m/km)(1h/3600 s)=19.4444....m/s=19.44 m/s

average acceleration= (final velocity -initial velocity)/ time
average acceleration=(19.44 m/s - 0 m/s)/7 s≈2.78 m/s²

Answer: the cars average acceleration would be: 2.78 m/s²

A= (70-0)/7
a=10 km/hr/sec

10 km/hr = 10 km*100 m/km/(1 hr*3=600 sec/hr)=25/9 m/sec
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a= 25/9 m/sec/sec

If both of these balls are traveling down a bowling lane at the SAME speed, which one would would have more kinetic energy?
Mariana [72]

Answer:

Ball A has more kinetic energy

Explanation:

As we know that Kinetic energy is given by

K. E = 1/2 mv²

Since K E is dependent upon both mass and velocity so increasing mass will produce more kinetic energy if the speed remains constant

As the mass of ball A is greater than ball B so we can say that the kinetic energy of ball is more than ball B

Which is not a source of electrical energy in the United States
xenn [34]

Every practical source of energy that you can imagine, as well as a few impractical ones, are used somewhere in the USA.

From whale oil in Alaska, to nuclear energy, to coal, petroleum, natural gas, solar energy, wind energy, and biomass.

Oh ! Geothermal energy and tidal energy aren't too popular, but I'll bet if you looked, you'd find these used too, SOMEwhere in the 50 states.

The area of the effort and load of the Piston of a hydrolic are 0.5 and 5m respectively. If a force of 100 Newton is applied on
Yanka [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

Using Pascal laws, which states that pressure are the input equals the pressure at the output.

Pressure is given as force/area

P1=P2

Then,

F1/A1=F2/A2

Cross multiply

F1A2=F2A1

Given that

Ae=0.5m² area of effort

Al=5m² area of load

Fl=? Force if load

Fe= 100N. Force of effort

Then applying pascal

Fl/Al=Fe/Ae

Fl/5=100/0.5

FL/5=200

Fl=200×5

Fl=1000N

The first safety load is 1000N

When multiple forces are at work on an object, the net force is called a ______.
natka813 [3]

When multiple forces are at work on an object, the net force is called a resultant, because it's a sum of vectors, and a sum of vectors is called their resultant.
