It is based on collumns and reactivity of the element, the ones on the far right (column 1,2 and 3) are all metals, the ones in the middle (columns 4,5,6 and 7) are physical matters and the ones on the far right (columns 8 and 9) are all gasses, hope this helps

1. What type of circuit is in the diagram?
parallel circuit
series circuit
devlian [24]

Answer:

A series circuit is defined as the circuit in which a number of resistances are connected one after the other.. In a series circuit, the flow of current follows a single path.

A parallel circuit is defined as the circuit in which a number of resistances are linked across each other in such a way that one terminal of each resistance is connected to form a junction point while the remaining end is also connected to form another point.

You havent added the diagram so i cant tell you the answer, but i added the definition of each circuit, see if that helps!

A sample of a pure compound that weighs 60.3 g contains 20.7 g Sb (antimony) and 39.6 g F (fluorine). What is the percent compos
Volgvan

Answer:

The percent composition of fluorine is 65.67%

Explanation:

Percent Composition is a measure of the amount of mass an element occupies in a compound. It is measured in percentage of mass.

That is, the percentage composition is the percentage by mass of each of the elements present in a compound.

The calculation of the percentage composition of an element is made by:

percent composition element A=\frac{total mass of element A}{mass of compound} *100

In this case, the percent composition of fluorine is:

percent composition of fluorine=\frac{39.6 g}{60.3 g} *100

percent composition of fluorine= 65.67%

The percent composition of fluorine is 65.67%

A cube of an unknown metal is 1.25 inches on each side and has a mass of 128.3741 g. What is its' density?
Mademuasel [1]
Hey there!

To find the density of an object, you must use this formula:
Density=Mass/Volume

Knowing that your mass is 128.3741, the only information you need left would be to find the volume of the cube.

Because the side length of the cube is given, you can multiply the length three times in order to find its volume:
1.25*1.25*1.25
=1.953125

Now that you have your volume and mass, divide the mass by the volume to find the density:
128.3741/1.953125
=65.7275392

Therefore, your density would be 65.7275392 grams per inches cubed.

Analyze the energy associated with a phase change and provide an example of how energy is conserved.
Anna11 [10]

1:The energy involved in a phase change depends on two major factors: the number and strength of bonds or force pairs. The number of bonds is proportional to the number of molecules and thus to the mass of the sample. The strength of forces depends on the type of molecules. The heat Q required to change the phase of a sample of mass m is given by

2:According to the law of conservation of energy, energy can neither be created nor destroyed but can be transformed from one form to another. Conversion of electric energy into sound energy is an example of the conservation of energy.
