I basically solved for x first.
42+43x+1=180
X=3.2 rounded

Next plug in the value of x into the EDC equation
43(3.2)+1=138.6

Then add it to the measure of EDN
138.6+42= 180.6

So the answer is measure of NDC= 138.6
