Answer:

Reactants are initiators of a chemical reaction whereas products are substances produced as the end of that reaction.

Explanation:

In a chemical reaction, there are two categories of substances involved: reactants and products.

The reactants are those substances utilized in a chemical reaction which undergo certain changes to produce different substances at the end of the reaction known as products.

On can write a chemical equation as:

M+N→MN, where M and N are the reactants and MN is the product.

For example,

     Zn + S → ZnS

      |___|         ↓

Reactants      Products

As you can notice when writing a chemical equation, reactants are always written on left hand side of the arrow and the products on the right hand side.

A crate on a motorized cart starts from rest and moves with a constant eastward acceleration of a = 2.20 m/s2. A worker assists
trasher [3.6K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

acceleration a =2.2 m/s^2

Force F(t) is given by

F(t)=5.40 t N/s

Power supplied by this force at different time t is given by

Power=F\cdot v

velocity at any instant t is given by

v=at

Power=5.40 t\cdot 2.2 t

Power=11.88 t^2

at t=1 s

Power =11.88 W

at t=2 s

Power=11.88\times 4=47.52

at =4 s

Power=11.88 \times 16=190.08

A proton is moving at 425 m/s. (a) How much work must be done on it to stop it? (A proton has a mass of 1.67×10−27 kg.) (b) Assu
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

a)1.51*10^-22joules b) 1.89*10^-7m

Explanation:

Work done to stop the proton = the kinetic energy of the proton = 1/2 mv^2 = 1/2* 1.67*10^-27* 425*425 = 1.51* 10 ^ -22 joules

b) net force acting to stop the proton = 8.01*10^-16

Work done needed to stop the proton = net force acting opposite the motion * distance

Distance covered = need work done/ net force

Distance = 1.51*10^-22/8.01*10^-16= 1.89*10^-7m

A spring is hung from the ceiling. When a block is attached to its end, it stretches 2.5 cm before reaching its new equilibrium
Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

0.99Hz

Explanation:

Using F= -mx ( spring force)

At equilibrium the gravitational force will be balanced by the spring force so mg= kx

K= mg/ 0.25 N/m

But

Frequency f= 1/2pi √g/0.25

Frequency is 0.99Hz
