A Decrease in blood pressure, a signal is released for the secretion of aldosterone from the adrenal cortex. Aldosterone then regulates the levels of sodium and potassium ions, and conserves sodium in kidneys, salivary glands, colon, and sweat glands. 
Anxiety also lead to aldosterone release.

not sure what you mean, but I think you're talking about the bonds i suppose. Anti-parallel strands are connected by H-bonds, whereas the sugar and phosphorus are bonded by covalent phosphodiester bonds.
