Is a circle's circumference the same as its width

Mathematics

They are not the same

Width also know as area is a point anywhere from the edge of the circle to the middle and to find the area you have to use the formula A=3.14*r

The circumference on the other hand is directly through the middle or double the area/width you find circumference with the formula C= 2*3.14*r

Hence the circumference is double the width and they are not the same unless the circumference is halved

What does this meeaaannn?? please answer
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer: It means find the slope of each line.

Step-by-step explanation:

A is the line that runs from 0,-6 to 5,14 This is tricky because the scale of the y-axis is twice the value of the x-axis. So what looks like a slope (gradient) of +2 is actually +4. Figure the difference in y-values divided by the difference in x-values.

Same for line B.

I used 0 - 14 for the rise, and 4 -(-3) for the run. 7/-14 makes that slope a -2. That's negative two, not the apparent negative one!

Dr. Park is interested in how the functioning of the brain changes with age and how this, in turn, affects older individuals’ me
a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

Option C.  No, because the two populations from which the samples are selected do not appear to have equal variances.

Step-by-step explanation:

The variance measures how far a set of (random) numbers are spread out from their average value.

The fact that the younger adults show diversity in their brain activity while the older adults produce similar activities show that there are no equal variances in the two populations from which the samples are selected.

Therefore it would not be valid for Dr. Park to use the independent-measures t-test to test whether the brain activity of younger adults is different from that of older adults during a visual recognition task
