You need to purchase supplies for an employee appreciation picnic. Your boss gives you the shopping list below and asks that you

get the best deal by buying from one grocer, either Quality Groceries or Fresh Market. You call both grocers, and they provide the price information that you put into in the table. Which grocer will provide all these picnic supplies for the lowest cost, and what is that cost without sales tax?

To get the units needed, divide the given number of items needed shown in the above portion of table, with the package size given in the below portion. Then multiply with given prices. Round off the numbers to whole numbers.

Now, money needs to be spent in Quality Groceries-

(5*15.5)+(2*6.23)+(7*3.79)+(2*2.75)+(2*4.33)+(5*7.55)

=$ 168.40

Now, money needs to be spent in Fresh Market-

(7*12.4)+(3*4.99)+(7*3.55)+(3*2.55)+(2*5.55)+(5*6.99)

=$ 180.32

So, the answer is option B.

Divide the number needed by the package size and multiply by the cost of the package. If you don't get a whole number, you must round up.

QG:

5 * $15.5 + 2 * $6.23 + 7 * $3.79 + 2 * $2.75 + 2 * $4.33 + 5 * $7.55 = $168.40

FM

7 * $12.4 + 3 * $4.99 + 7 * $3.55 + 3 * $2.55 + 2 * $5.55 + 5 * $6.99 = $180.32

Answer is B.

Answer:

y=7/24x+625/24

Step-by-step explanation:

-7x+24y=-25"2

-7x+24y=625

+7x            +7x

24y=7x+625

divide 24

y=7/24x+625/24

Choose the system of equations that matches the following graph:
Vilka [71]

One of the lines passes through points (0, 6) and (-4, 3). Hence the equation is given by:

(y - 6)/(x - 0) = (3 - 6)/(-4 - 0)

(y - 6)/x = -3/-4 = 3/4

4(y - 6) = 3x

4y - 24 = 3x

3x - 4y = -24

The other line passes through points (0, -3) and (1, 0). Hence the equation is given by:

(y - (-3))/(x - 0) = (0 - (-3))/(1 - 0)

(y + 3)/x = (0 + 3)/1

y + 3 = 3x

3x - y = 3

Therefore, the system of equations representing the graph is:

3x - 4y = -24

3x - y = 3
