Let sum of 3 numbers be x.

Average of 3 numbers and 8 = \frac{x + 8}{4}

25 = \frac{x +8}{4}

100 = x +8

x= 92.

The sum of 3 numbers is 92.

PLZZZ HELPPPP Assume line q is parallel to line m. Choose from the drop-down menus to solve for m∠6
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

1= 75 2= 60 3=180 4=45 5= vertical angles 6=45

Step-by-step explanation:

All we have to do is use supplimentary angles

For example angle 1

105+angle 1=180

angle one = 75 degrees

120+angle 2=180

angle two= 60 degrees

There 180 degreees in a triagle.

So angle 1 + angle 2+ angle 7= 180

75+60+angle 7=180

angle 7= 45 degrees

And since 6 and 7 are vertical angles, angle 6 is also 45 degrees.

Dvinal [7]
Since the graph of the given functions is a straight line, the graph belongs to a linear function, as all linear functions have their graphs as a straight line. For a non-linear function the graph is not a straight line.

For a relation (non-function), the line passes through same value of x for more than one points.

Hence the correct answer is "Linear Function"

Mrs. Smith decides to buy three sweaters and a pair of jeans. she had $120 in her wallet. if the price of jeans is $35, what is
mylen [45]

Answer:

The highest possible price of a sweater is $28.33

Step-by-step explanation:

We already know that price j of jeans is $35.Let's say Mrs.Smith buys 3 sweaters for p dollars each, and since her budget is $120 we have the inequality:

3p+j\leq 120\\ \\\\=3p+35\leq 120

Therefore

p\leq 28.33

Thus the maximum price of a sweater is $28.33

Find(f+g)(x) for the following functions. f(x) = 12x2 + 7x + 2 g(x) = 9x + 7
Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

(f + g)(x) = 12x² + 16x + 9 ⇒ 3rd answer

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets explain how to solve the problem

- We can add and subtract two function by adding and subtracting their

 like terms

Ex: If f(x) = 2x + 3 and g(x) = 5 - 7x, then

     (f + g)(x) = 2x + 3 + 5 - 7x = 8 - 5x

     (f - g)(x) = 2x + 3 - (5 - 7x) = 2x + 3 - 5 + 7x = 9x - 2

* Lets solve the problem

∵ f(x) = 12x² + 7x + 2

∵ g(x) = 9x + 7

- To find (f + g)(x) add their like terms

∴ (f + g)(x) = (12x² + 7x + 2) + (9x + 7)

∵ 7x and 9x are like terms

∵ 2 and 7 are like terms

∴ (f + g)(x) = 12x² + (7x + 9x) + (2 + 7)

∴ (f + g)(x) = 12x² + 16x + 9

* (f + g)(x) = 12x² + 16x + 9
