40 POINTS! Complete the two questions below.
Natali [406]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

So problem 1 is actually pretty easy, once you know how to do it. So it gives you 3 different functions in 3 different forms and says pick the one with the steepest slope, right?

Okay, so for the f(x)= -5/3 (3)^x problem, just plug in values for x. I would suggest making a t chart like function 2. So plug in the following numbers and  compute:

x=0             f(x)= ?

x=1              f(x)= ?

x=2             f(x)= ?

x=3             f(x)= ?

x=4             f(x)= ?

x=5             f(x)= ?

Then, for function 3, write down the values for y when x is the numbers listed above. Or, you can simply calculate slope.

For the charts, you now have 5 sets of ordered pairs which you can calculate the slope with...

In function 1, it should be -5/3, but let me know what you get cause I'm just guessing on that one. Make sure to calculate the slope on all 3 functions!!

So in problem 2, you need to find out how to write out a function given the info- I don't feel like typing all that out, so what I would suggest is looking up how to write functions in you tube and watch a few videos.

Hope this helps, make sure to go to bed soon.

What is 3 1/3 as a percent?
Nikitich [7]

Answer:

333.3\%

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to express 3⅓ as a percentage.

Let us first of all rewrite 3⅓ as decimals to obtain:

3 \frac{1}{3}  = 3.3333...

To express this as a percentage, we multiply by 100%

3 \frac{1}{3}  = 3.3333... \times 100\%

This multiplies to give us:

3 \frac{1}{3}  = 333.3\%

NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

x > -6

x > 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Write out inequality

x² + 5x - 6 > 0

Step 2: Factor

(x + 6)(x - 1) > 0

Step 3: Find roots

x + 6 > 0

x > -6

x - 1 > 0

x > 1
