Let the solid line be slope1 and dashed line be slope2

For the dashed line to be perpendicular,the slope has to be:
slope1 x slope2 = -1
thus
3/4 x slope2= -1
slope2 = -4/3

Answer:

21.4 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Greater angle: 180 - 80 = 100

diagonal² = 14² + 14² - 2(14)(14)cos(100)

diagonal² = 460.0700856454

Please solve if you know no trolls please im desparate
IgorC [24]
The question isn’t equal to 90° it’s equal to 180° because the line is straight it’s not a right angle. so when u equal the whole equation to 180°, you get x=18.75. then plug in the number to find the degree of each.
so angle of department would be 139.25° and angle of gas station would be 40.75°

Oliga [24]

Answer:

x = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 8 = 4x + 6

subtract 6 from both sides of the equation

2x + 8 - 6 = 4x + 6 - 6

2x + 2 = 4x

subtract 2x from both sides of the equation

2x - 2x + 2 = 4x - 2x

2 = 4x - 2x

2 = 2x

divide both sides of the equation by 2

2/2 = 2x/2

1 = x
