How do you write y=3/7x-1 in standard form

$y = \frac 3 7 x - 1$

is slope-intercept form, which is pretty standard.  But let's multiply both sides by seven then bring the x term over to the other side:

$7y = 3x - 7$

$7y - 3x = - 7$

Standard form for a linear equation like this one, means, 

no fractions, only integers, 

the variables must be on the left-hand-side, 

the constant all by herself on the right-hand-side, 

and usually the "x" goes before the "y", and the "x" must not have a negative coefficient.
