PT 1 the circumference of a circle is always pi times the diameter. The diameter is 2 times the radius, because diameter is all the way across the circle, whereas radius is from the center of the circle to the edge. Anyways, if the radius is 6, multiply it by 2 and you get 12, so 3.14 times 12 is 37.68, which is the answer. PT 2 diameter=9 cm. So, just do 9 times 3.14. (diameter times pi = circumference.) (2*radius times pi = circumference.) 9 times 3.14 is 28.26 :3
I like to remember the formulas with something called, "Cherry Pies Delicious, Apple Pi(e)s Are Too."
Cherry = Circumference P = Pi D = Diameter A = Area P = Pi Are = Radius Too = 2 = (squared)
So that makes the formulas : Circumference = × diameter Area = × radius²
1. And now we're looking for the circumference. For the first once. we have to find the diameter to find the circumference, but only the radius is given. The radius is half of the diameter, so we multiply it by 2 to find the diameter. That makes the diameter 12. We multiply (we're using 3.14) and multiply it with 12, and we get : 37.68 cm
2. We have the diameter this time, so we don't have to find anything. We multiply the diameter (9) with pi (we're using 3.14) and we get : 28.26 cm
..what answer exactly? (im just gonna put my random answer here lol)
The development of the calander shows they can divde the number of minutes hours days month etc in a year. Development of the pyramids shows geometry and engineering.
Because each of the students paid the same amounts, you just divide the total amount of money by the number of students there are, which is 21 and you get your answer of $12.40. hope this helps :)
