Answer:

Fe(NO₃)₃   +  3NaOH  →  Fe(OH)₃  +  3NaNO₃

382.5 grams of NaNO₃ are formed, initially from 1.5 moles of Fe(NO₃)₃

Explanation:

This is the reaction:

Fe(NO₃)₃   +  3NaOH  →  Fe(OH)₃  +  3NaNO₃

Ratio is 1:3

So 1 mol of iron(III) nitrate is needed to produce 3 moles of sodium nitrate

1,5 moles of Fe(NO₃)₃  will produce (1.5 . 3) = 4.5 moles of NaNO₃

Molar mass of sodium nitrate: 85 g/m

Mol . molar mass = grams → 4.5 m . 85 g/m = 382.5 grams

An atom has 81 electrons, 84 neutrons, and 82 protons. What element is this atom?
posledela

Answer:

Lead

Explanation:

The subatomic particles within an atom can be used to know the atom or element given.

Of particular interest is the number of protons within the atom.

The periodic table is based on the atomic number of atoms. This atomic number is the number of protons within an atomic space.

So; If we know the number of protons within an atom, we can know the element.

The number of protons given is 82, the element is  therefore lead.

Elden [556K]

Answer:

When copper(II) chloride and sodium carbonate solutions are combined, solid copper(II) carbonate precipitates, leaving a solution of sodium chloride. Write the conventional equation, total ionic equation, and net ionic equation for this reaction.

Explanation:

The word equation for the reaction is:

Copper (II) chloride(aq) + sodium carbonate (aq) ->sodium chloride (aq) +           copper carbonate(s)

The balanced chemical equation of the reaction is:

CuCl_2(aq)+Na_2CO_3(aq)->2NaCl(aq)+CuCO_3(s)

The complete ionic equation is:

Cu^2+(aq)+2Cl^-(aq)+2Na^+(aq)+CO_3^2^-(aq)->2Cl^-(aq)+2Na^+(aq)+CuCO_3(s)\\

The net ionic equation is obtained from the complete ionic equation after removing the spectator ions:

Cu^2^+(aq)+CO_3^2^-(aq)->CuCO_3(s)
