A seamstress needs to cut 15 inch pieces of ribbon from a roll of ribbon that is 9 feet in length. What is the greatest number o
Aneli [31]
36 pieces of ribbon is what you can get from the 5 rolls. Each roll is 9 feet and 1 foot= 12 inches so we multiply 9 times 12 to get the total number of inches available per roll (108 inches) then times that by 5 the total number of rolls. This brought the total to 540 inches available for the project and divide that by 15 inches and end at 36 pieces.

I need to solve for X Y and Z please and thank you

Answer:

 • x = 5
 • y = 30
 • z = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

The rhombus has several relevant properties.

 • The sides are all the same length
 • Diagonals are perpendicular bisectors of each other
 • Diagonals divide the rhombus into congruent triangles

The last of these relations can be used to find x:

 7x° = 35°

 x = 35°/7° = 5

The second of the relations can be used to find y:

 3y° = 90°

 y = 90°/3° = 30

The first of the relations can be used to find z:

 10z -8 = 5z +32

 5z = 40 . . . . . . . . . add 8-5z

 z = 40/5 = 8

A. 170, 179
B. 183, 167
C. 167, 183
D. 179, 170
E. 165, 175

Arranged Height distribution (cm): 154, 158, 159, 163, 165, 167, 167, 174, 177, 178, 181, 186, 191
Arranged Weight distribution (lbs): 157, 163, 168, 173, 173, 177, 183, 184, 187, 189, 190, 192, 193

The median is the middle number. [there are 13 numbers each. hence the respective median are the 7th numbers]

Find the exact length of the third side.
KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer:

The third side is sqrt(5)

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a right triangle so we can use the Pythagorean theorem

a^2+b^2 = c^2 where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse

We know the legs are 1 and 2 and we are looking for the hypotenuse.

1^2+2^2 = c^2

1+4 = c^2

5 =c^2

Take the square root of each side

sqrt(5) = sqrt(c^2)

sqrt(5) =c

The third side is sqrt(5)
