Sucrose, maltose, and lactose are common dietary disaccharides. Their monosaccharide components are substrates for the glycolyti

c pathway, but some must participate in additional reactions before they can act as substrates for a glycolytic enzyme. As a result, all do not enter glycolysis at the same step. In muscle cells, which enzyme would act as the rate-limiting step to regulate entry of products from all three dietary disaccharides into glycolysis?

Answer:

Phosphofructokinase- 1 (PFK-1)

Explanation:

PFK-1 is an important enzyme that plays a major role during glycolysis. It acts as a  catalyst by converting fructose 6-phosphate and ATP into frustose 1,6-biphosphate and ADP. It regulates the process of glycolysis in the body. It controls the level of glucose and other disaccharides that goes down the glycolytic pathway.  Low levels of pH and high ATP levels has an inhibitory effect on PFK-1.

why is it weird for adults to drink b 0 0 b milk from human but it is okay for them to drink b 0 0 b milk from other animals?
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

Cause of the nutrients it gives.

Adults don't need the nutrients that "B00B milk" from humans give their children, that milk helps the baby grow and develope as they should.

"b00b milk" from animals gives nutrients that do help adults, and children. Anyone really.

But to be quite honest, it'd be weird to see an adult drinking "b00b milk" from a human :/

Hope it helps :)

2. HA spikes attach to host cells

3. Influenza proteins are synthesized

4. Influenza enters the host cell

5. Nucleic acid is released into the host cytoplasm

6. Influenza nucleic acid is packaged in capsid

Answer:

STEP 1 => HA spikes attach to host cells

STEP 2 => Influenza enters the host cell

STEP 3 => Nucleic acid is released into the host cytoplasm

STEP 4 => Influenza proteins are synthesized

STEP 5 => Influenza nucleic acid is packaged in capsid

STEP 6 => Influenza particles bud from the cell, releasing the virus into the surrounding environment

Explanation:

When influenza gain entry into an host body, they stick to the host cells. It then hijacks the host machinery with the aim of producing more and new viral particles. The new particles then infects nearby cells causing infections. While after all the components are sybthesize, the virus leaves through budding.
