I'm not 100% sure, but I am almost certain that you add your like terms on the left side. This will give you -14n+1>1. Next you want to solve like any other equation. subtract the 1 to the other side, -14n>2. Now, divide by -14. Since you are dividing, you want to flip the sign, so it says n<-1/2. That should be it. I really hope you get this right, and if you don't I'm sorry. It's been a while since I've done this kind of math.

To do these problems, plug in a couple of values into the equations, and see the general shape of the graph. To ensure you were right, check them on an online graphing calculator. I highly recommend Desmos Graphing Calculator. Cheers!

Hatshy [7]
2 workers, each 8 per hour, for 40hrs a week, so one earns 8 * 40, or 320 bucks, is two workers, so 320 + 320 or 640 bucks

if 2000 is the 100%, how much is 640 in percentage off of it?

well \bf \begin{array}{ccllll}
amount&\%\\
\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash&\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\\
2000&100\\ 640&x
\end{array}\implies \cfrac{2000}{640}=\cfrac{100}{x}

Find whether the ordered pair giving is solution to both liner equations. Insert the X- and y- Values into each equation and det
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

The ordered pair (4,1) gives a true statement for both equations.

Step-by-step explanation:

So for the first equation, x + 2y = 6. The ordered pair is (4,1). This means x=4 and y=1 because ordered pairs are in (x,y) form. First substitute the x and y values into the first equation

Let x=4 y=1

x + 2y = 6.

4 + 2(1) = 6

4 + 2 = 6

6=6. This means that the ordered pair works for the first equation.

Now, the second equation. x - y = 3.

Again, substitute the x and y values.

4 - 1 = 3

3=3. This means that the ordered pair (4,1) works for the second equation.

The ordered pair (4,1) gives a true statement for both equations.
