Answer with Explanation:

We are given that

Initial angular velocity,\omega_0=18.9 rad/s

Angular acceleration,\alpha=-3.73 rad/s^2

a.We have to find the time taken by drum in coming to rest.

\omega=0

We know that

\alpha=\frac{\omega-\omega_0}{t}

Using the formula

-3.73=\frac{0-18.9}{t}

t=\frac{-18.9}{-3.73}=5.067 s

b.\theta=\omega_0t+\frac{1}{2}\alpha t^2

Using the formula

\theta=18.9(5.067)+\frac{1}{2}(-3.73)(5.067)^2

\theta=47.88 rad

\theta=2743.3 degree

The density of lead is 11.3 g/cm 3. What mass of lead is required to make a 1 cm 3 fishing sinker?
Aliun [14]

Answer:

11.3 g

Explanation:

given,

density of the lead = 11.3 g/cm³

volume = 1 cm³

mass of the lead = ?

we know,

density=\dfrac{mass}{volume}

mass = volume x density

mass = 1 x 11.3

mass = 11.3 g

hence, the mass of the lead is equal to 11.3 g

Two very small spheres are initially neutral and separated by a distance of 0.30 m. Suppose that 2.50 1013 electrons are removed
quester [9]

Answer:

F = - 1,598 10⁻³ N

Explanation:

Electic strength is given by Coulomb's law

          F = k q₁ q₂  / r²

Where k is the Coulomb constant that is worth 8.99 10⁸ N m²/C², q₁ and q₂ are the charges and r is the distance that separates the electric charges

In this case the charge of the two spheres is the same and of a different sign since when you remove the charge of a sphere that was initially neutral, it is left with that charge removed but of the opposite sign

       q₁ = q₂ = 2.50 10¹³ electrons = 2.50 10¹³ 1.6 10⁻¹⁹

       q₀ = 4.0 10⁻⁶ C

Let's calculate

       F = - 8.99 10⁸ (4.0 10⁻⁶)² / 0.30²

       F = - 1,598 10⁻³ N

Label the parts of the brain. medulla oblongata thalamus cerebrum cerebellum brain stem pons hypothalamus midbrain
Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

Medulla oblongata is lower part of brain.

Cerebrum and cerebellum are the upper hemispheres of the brain.

Explanation:

Cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and is composed of right and left hemispheres.

Cerebellum is the part of brain that lies inside the cerebellum.

Medulla Oblongata is lowest part of brain stem which is most vital part of the brain.

Thalamus is a small region of the brain located above the brain stem. Its main function is to transmit sensory signals to cerebral cortex.

Brain stem act as relay center connecting the cerebrum and cerebellum to the spinal chord.

Hypothalamus is the mid brain located near the pituitary glands. It is very small region of the brain but it plays an important role in maintaining the body temperature and releasing the hormones.
