The Definition of Linear Pair states that both ∠ABC and ∠CBD are equal to 180 degrees. In the question, this tells you that
m∠ABC and m∠CBD = (3x − 6).
So, you're equation should be (3x - 6) + (3x - 6) = 180.
You would then solve to get 6x - 12 = 180, 6x = 192, x = 32
x=32, and we used the Linear Pair Theorem (C)

Factor out the coefficient 1/2d+6
Ratling [72]
To factor, we always have to look for common factors in the numbers given to us. In this case, in 1/2 and 6, the common factor is 1/2. Therefore, we will have to factor like so:

1/2d + 6 = 1/2 (d + 3)

Hope this helps!

Question: What is the measure of angle 2?
ad-work [718]

Answer:

56 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the angle TWR must be 90 degrees because TWK is 90 degrees and the two angles msut add up to 180. Since we know that TWR=90 degrees and since LWR=34 degrees we do 90-34 so angle 2=56 degrees.

Find the equation of the line with m = 2 and passes through the point ( 4 , − 5 ) . Write your answer in standard form A x + B y
Rudiy27

Answer:

2x - y = 13

Step-by-step explanation:

To write the equation of a line use the formula y - y_1 = m(x-x_1).

Substitute m = 2 and (4,-5).

y --5 = 2(x-4)\\y + 5 = 2(x - 4)\\y + 5 = 2x - 8\\y = 2x -13\\-2x + y = -13\\2x - y = 13
