Answer:

total cost of putting carpet in both rooms is $3692.42

Step-by-step explanation:

given data

living room length = 24 feet

living room width = 15 feet

dining room is square so length and width will be same

dining room length = 13 feet

dining room width = 13 feet

carpet costs =  $6.98 per square foot

to find out

what is the total cost of putting carpet in both rooms

solution

first we find the total area of both room that is

area of living room = length × width      .................1

area of living room = 24 × 15

area of living room = 360 feet²      ...........................2

and

areas of dining room = length × width

area of dining room = 13 × 13

area of dining room = 169 feet²    ...............................3

so total area = add equation 1 and 2

total area = 360 feet² + 169 feet²

total area = 529 feet²

and

total cost of putting carpet in both rooms are = total area × carpet costs    .................4

put here value

total cost of putting carpet in both rooms  = 529  ×  $6.98

total cost of putting carpet in both rooms  =$3692.42

Since 201020102010, the town of Fall River has been experiencing a growth in population. The relationship between the elapsed ti
barxatty [35]

Answer:

48,558

Step-by-step explanation:

The function which models the relationship between the elapsed time, t in years, since 2010 and the town's population, P(t), is given as:

P(t)=36800\cdot2^{^\dfrac{t}{25}}

Now, 2020-2010=10 Years

Therefore we are required to calculate the population of the town 10 years after.

To do this, we simply substitute t=10 in the function.

P(10)=36800\cdot2^{^\dfrac{10}{25}}}\\=48557.9\\\approx 48558

According to the model, the population in Fall River will be 48,558 in the Year 2020.

Simplify (write without absolute value sign): |x+3|, if x>2
Bas_tet [7]

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

Substitute 2 in for x

|2+3| = 5

This would take the absolute value of the answer, or in other words once you solve the equation it will remove any negatives to return a positive number. I took the test and I have links to prove it.
