In order to find the density of an object, Maria is trying to measure its volume. However, the object does not fit in the tool s

he is using. To solve this problem, Maria decides to break apart the object. Will Maria be able to find density following this method? Why or why not?

Yes, Maria can still find the density since breaking up the object will not change its makeup or density. She can find the volume of each of one of the individual pieces to find the density of the object.

Answer:

yes she can. The density of a substance remains constant.

Explanation:

The density of a substance can be defined as the ration of mass upon volume. The density of a substance remains constant. This is because, with change in volume, the amount of mass contained in it also changes in the same proportion. Thus, Maria would be able to find the density of the object after breaking it.

Objects change motion due to forces. When they become unbalanced, their motion changes, while balanced forces cause constant mot
Neko [114]

Answer:

Balanced forces: When a number of forces acting on a body do not cause any change in its state of rest or of uniform motion along a straight line then the forces are said to be balanced forces. In other words, a body is said to be underbalanced forced when the resulting force acting on the body is zero.

The balanced forces:

⋅ Cannot set any stationary body into motion.

⋅ May change the shape and size of soft objects.

⋅ Cannot change the speed/velocity of a moving body.

Unbalanced forces:

When the resultant of all the forces acting on a body is not zero, then forces are called unbalanced forces.

Example:

⋅ Game of tug of war: When the forces exerted by both the teams are equal, then the rope does not move. But, if the force applied by team A is greater than team B, then the rope, as well as members of the weaker team, i.e., B, will be pulled towards A. The unbalanced force can (a) Set a stationary body in motion.

⋅ Set a moving body at rest.

⋅ Change the direction of motion.

A police car is stopped at a red light facing west. When the light turned green, a sports car speeds past it heading west at wit
frutty [35]

Answer:

14 seconds

Explanation:

Distance covered by sports car is measured with 21*t where t is time.

Distance covered by police is measured with at^2/2(t-time, a-acceleration) as it doesnt have starting velocity. If the distances are equal(police catches sport car)

then we have 21t=3/2*t^2 Solving this equation we get t=14 & t=0;

excluding the starting point we have 14 seconds
