Hello!

It tells you what to do in the question

First round all the numbers to the nearest whole number

2.20 = 2
2.34 = 2
2.7 = 3

Then it says to multiply all the numbers

2 * 2 * 3 = 12

Then it says to divide by 6

12 /  6 = 2

The answer is 2 cubic yards

Hope this helps!

The estimated volume would 2 cubic yds

the volume of any pyramid is defined by V = (1/3)Bh  where B is the area of the base of the pyramid and h is the height of the pyramid.

Here:
B = (.5)(3)(2) = 3  rounding the dimensions of the base
h = 2 rounded
So volume would be V = (1/3)(3)(2) = 2 cubic yds <span />

seraphim [82]

Answer:

The required hypothesis to test is H_0: \mu\leq 30 and H_1: \mu>30.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

It is given that the nightclub has recently surveyed a random sample of n = 250 customers of the club.

She would now like to determine whether or not the mean age of her customers is over 30.

Null hypotheses is represents as H_0. Thus the null hypotheses is shown as:

H_0: \mu\leq 30

The alternative hypotheses is represents as H_1. Thus the alternative hypotheses is shown as:

H_1: \mu>30

Hence, the required hypothesis to test is H_0: \mu\leq 30 and H_1: \mu>30.
