Emit means to produce or discharge something. It also means to discharge something. For example, factories throw the garbage in the rivers, that means they are emitting the garbage.

Reflect means to think about something thoroughly or act upon it.

Suppose you are observing the interference pattern formed by a Michelson interferometer in a laboratory and a joking colleague h
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

Explanation:

In Michelson interferometer , two light waves from different directions are made to overlap so that fringes are formed on the screen due to interference . In it,  two monochromatic and coherent light are made to overlap which have some path difference or phase difference. They form dark and bright fringes .

Now when a match stick is lit in the path of a wave , the fringes will disappear  and an general illumination will be observed on the screen as the light from the lit match stick will not be coherent . Incoherent light can not form stable fringes.

A spring that is compressed 14.5 cm from its equilibrium position stores 2.99 J of potential energy. Determine the spring consta
strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

284.4233 N/m

Explanation:

k = Spring constant

x = Compression of spring = 14.5 cm

U = Potential energy = 2.99 J

The potential energy of a spring is given by

U=\dfrac{1}{2}kx^2

Rearranging to get the value of k

\\\Rightarrow k=\dfrac{2U}{x^2}\\\Rightarrow k=\dfrac{2\times 2.99}{0.145^2}\\\Rightarrow k=284.4233\ N/m

The spring constant is 284.4233 N/m

Using this formula a = F/m What acceleration results from exerting a 125N force on a 0.65kg
Softa [21]

Answer:

Acceleration = 192.3 m/s² (Approx.)

Explanation:

Given:

Force = 125 N

Mass of ball = 0.65 kg

Find:

Acceleration

Computation:

We know that;

Acceleration = Force / Mas

So,

Acceleration = 125 / 0.65

Acceleration = 192.3 m/s² (Approx.)
