Answers A-C would be considered pseudoscience, then. D can be considered scientific because there is definite evidence surrounding how genes are the codes in DNA that make everything the organism may need.

Pseudoscientific beliefs do not line up with the scientific method. Ask yourself: Which one can be proven to be a reproducible experiment that can be peer reviewed (verified) by other experts in the same field?

29. What is E for a system which has the following two steps:
jasenka [17]

Answer:

Zero

Explanation:

Recall that;

E = q + w

Where;

q = heat, w = work done

When heat is absorbed by the system q is positive

When heat is evolved by the system q is negative

When the system does work, w is negative

When work is done on the system w is positive

Step 1

ΔE1= 60 KJ + 40 KJ = 100KJ

Step 2

ΔE2= (-30 KJ) + (-70 KJ) = (-100) KJ

ΔE1 + ΔE2= 100KJ + (-100) KJ = 0KJ

Argon gas has a boiling point of -197 °C. Which of the following diagrams best represents the
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

(a)

Explanation:

Hello,

In this case, the temperature required to boil argon, it means, transform it from liquid to gas is -197 °C. In such a way, since the temperature inside the steel sphere is -190 °C, which is greater than the boiling point, we realize argon is gaseous, therefore, the molecules will be spread inside the sphere as they will be moving based on the kinetic theory of gases.

For that reason, answer is scheme (a).

Best regards.
