The conscious repetition of information in order to maintain it in long-term memory is called rehearsal.

Although rehearsal is not considered a strategy of meaningfull learning, it is a very important tool to deal with the information that you need to remember.

It may be used to study those things that you need to repeat in an exam. And rehearsal is the main tool that you can (must) use when you are going to do a presentation in public. Repeat, repeat and repeat, so when you make the presentation you can manage the terms, the ideas and the time as an expert.
