100 POINTS HELP ME!!!!!!!
trasher [3.6K]

Given : A theater company has raised $930.75 by selling 25 floor seat tickets. Each ticket costs the same.

To Find : Write an equation with a variable that can be solved to correctly find the price of each ticket.

the price of each floor seat ticket.

Solution:

Let say price of each ticket  =  x  $

then price of 25 tickets  = 25x  $

Price of 25 tickets  =  $930.75

Equating both

25x  = 930.75

is required equation

25x  = 930.75

Divide both sides by 25

=> x = 930.75/25

=> x = 37.23  $

price of each floor seat ticket.  = 37.23  $

Review the equation used in writing a partial fraction decomposition.
Aleksandr [31]

Applying partial fractions, the system of equations that can be used to find the values of A and B is given as follows:

  • 5A = -15.
  • -2A + B = 10.

<h3>What is the partial fraction?</h3>

The partial fraction is given as follows:

\frac{-15x + 10}{(5x - 2)^2} = \frac{A}{5x - 2} + \frac{B}{(5x - 2)^2}

Applying the least common multiple at the right side, we have that:

\frac{-15x + 10}{(5x - 2)^2} = \frac{A(5x - 2) + B}{(5x - 2)^2}

\frac{-15x + 10}{(5x - 2)^2} = \frac{5Ax - 2A + B}{(5x - 2)^2}

Hence, comparing both sides of the equality:

  • 5A = -15.
  • -2A + B = 10.
